공간디자인 · 소비자학과

전남일 교수는 연세대학교 건축공학과를 졸업했고, 독일 라인-베스트팔렌 아헨 공과대학교에서 건축학으로 디플롬 및 공학박사 학위를 받았다. 공간건축에서의 실무를 거쳐 현재 2001년부터 가톨릭대학교 공간디자인·소비자학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 스위스 취리히공대 및 오스트리아 빈공대에서 방문연구원으로 활동했으며, 서울특별시 건축심의위원, 인천광역시 건축심의위원, 국방부 기술심의위원, 행정복합도시 자문위원 등을 역임하였다. 주거계획 및 디자인, 주거의 역사, 주거의 사회학 등이 주요 연구분야다. 『한국 근현대 주거의 역사』 시리즈의 연구 및 출간을 주도적으로 이끌었고, 단독으로 『한국주거의 공간사』를, 『한국주거의 사회사』와 『한국주거의 미시사』를 공동으로 집필하였다. 이 외에도 『독일 근·현대 주거건축』과 『집: 집의 공간과 풍경은 어떻게 달라져 왔을까』 등을 출간했다. 또한 근대 이후 주거의 변화 및 현대 주거의 건축적·공간적·사회적 속성에 관심을 두고 국내·외 학술지에 수십 편의 논문을 게재하였다. 

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nam-Il Jun graduated from Yonsei University with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering and received a Diploma and Doktor Ingeniure(Dr.-Ing.) in Architecture from the RWTH Aachen University in Germany. After working in SPACE Group in Seoul, she has been a professor in the Department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies at the Catholic University of Korea since 2001. Her main research areas are housing planning and design, the history of housing, and the sociology of housing. She has published many papers in korean and international academic journals with an interest in the changes of housing since the modern era and the architectural, spatial, and social aspects of housing.

김경자 교수는 가톨릭대학교 공간디자인·소비자학과에서 소비자학 분야를 가르치고 있는 교수이다. 서울대학교 소비자학과(구. 가정관리학과)에서 학사와 석사학위를 받았으며 미국 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign에서 소비자경제학으로 Ph. D.를 받았다. 가톨릭대학교에서 평생교육원장과 국제교류처장을 지냈고 한국 소비자학회 회장, 소비문화학회와 소비자정책교육학회 부회장을 역임하였다. 아모레퍼시픽 사외이사, 한국 소비자원 비상임이사로도 재직하였고 미국 오하이오 주립대학교와 일본 북성학원대학에서 방문교수로 연구를 진행하였다. 현재 소비자조사법과 소비자트렌드, 소비심리, 소셜빅데이터 분석, 소매유통 과목을 강의하고 있고 삼성전자를 비롯한 다양한 기업에서 소비자조사법과 소비자트렌드, 고객서비스를 주제로 강의하였다.  비교문화 관점에서 소비자와 소비시장을 이해하는 데도 관심을 가지고 다양한 현장연구를 진행하고 있다.   

Dr. Kyungja Kim is a professor teaching the consumer studies at a department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies. She earned a bachelor's and master's degrees in Consumer Studies at Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in a Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana_Champaign.  She served as the director of lifelong education and the director of international affairs office at the Catholic University of Korea. She also served as the chairman and vice chairman of Korean Association of Consumer Studies and other academic associations.  She conducted research as a visiting professor at Ohio University and taught a Korean consumer  culture at a Hokusei Gakuen  University in Japan.  Prof. Kim is now teaching consumer research method, consumer trend analysis, consumer psychology, social bigdata analysis, Retailing in CUK and many business firms.

치유공간, 노인환경디자인(특히 노인요양시설)을 주로 연구하고 있으며, 청년세대의 셀프 인테리어, 지속가능한 실내건축재료에 대해서도 탐구하고 있다. 
연세대학교 주거환경학과(현 실내건축과)에서 학사 및 석사학위를, 시카고예술대학(The School of the Art Institute of Chicago)의 Interior Architecture 학과에서 예술학 석사 학위를 받았다. 미국 Vicki Blakeman Interior Design, Inc. 에서 근무했다. 
미국 실내디자이너 자격증(NCIDQ), 서울성모병원의 호스피스 표준 과정을 이수하였다.  호주 Eden Alternative 의 Associate member 이다. 
(사)한국주거학회 총무부회장,  (사)한국실내디자인학회 사업이사로 활동하고 있으며, 한국주거학회, 한국실내디자인학회의 논문편집위원이다. 

I specialize in researching healing spaces and elderly environment design, particularly focusing on Residential Aged Care. Additionally, I investigate DIY interior design among the younger generation and sustainable interior construction materials.
I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from Yonsei University's Department of Housing and Interior Design Department(now Interior Architecture & Built Environment Department), and a Master of Arts degree in Interior Architecture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have professional experience working at Vicki Blakeman Interior Design, Inc. in the United States.
I hold certifications as an interior designer in the United States (NCIDQ) and have completed the Hospice Standards course.  I am an Associate member of the Eden Alternative in Australia.
Currently, I am serving as the Secretary-General of the Korean Housing Association and as a board member of the Korean Institute of Interior Design. Also I am an editorial board member of both association. 

김나연 교수는 2022년 8월부터 가톨릭대학교 공간디자인·소비자학과에서 재직 중이다. 연구분야는 인간과 공간 환경의 상호 작용을 기반으로 한 디자인 융복합 연구이다. 다학제적 접근을 통해 디지털기술과 신경건축학 방법을 활용하고, 이를 통해 과학적 데이터를 바탕으로 한 인간중심의 공간 설계를 위한 근거기반 디자인(EBD)을 연구하고 있다.
연세대학교에서 실내건축학 박사학위를 취득한 후, 동 대학의 미래환경디자인 연구센터에서 리서치 펠로우로 근무하였고, 한국연구재단 연구개발과제 연구책임자로서 “생체신호기반 아이트래킹 기술을 활용한 VR/AR 공간 평가 방법 개발”연구를 수행했다. 약 10년 산업체 경력이 있으며, 미국에서는 Page Southerland Page,Inc., Tonychi Studio, Chicago History Museum 에서 공간 설계 및 실내디자인 업무를 , 국내에서는 (주)신세계 인터내셔날에서 리테일 스토어 개발 및 공간 브랜딩을 담당했다. 
현재는 미국, 캐나다, 중국 대학 등과 국제공동연구를 수행하고 있다. 연구성과물은 Journal of Environmental Psychology, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction 등  SSCI/ SCIE 국제학술지와 Springer 전문학술서적에 다수 게재되었다.

Dr. Nayeon Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Spatial Design and Consumer Studies at the Catholic University of Korea.  Her research focuses on design convergence based on the interaction between humans and their spatial environments. Through a multidisciplinary approach, she utilizes digital technology and neuroarchitecture to develop evidence-based design (EBD) for human-centered spatial design.  
After obtaining a Ph.D. in Interior Architecture from Yonsei University, she worked as a Research Fellow at Future Environmental Design Research Center. She also served as the Principal Investigator of funded  research projects on 'Development of  VR/AR Space Evaluation Methodology Using Biometrics Based Eye Tracking Technology'. She has amassed ten years of industry experience, working in space planning and interior design at Page Southerland Page, Washington DC, Tonychi Studio, New York and the Chicago History Museum in the USA, and in retail store development and spatial branding at Shinsegae International in Korea. 
Currently, she is  actively collaborating with international institutes  in diverse countries, including USA, Canada, and China. Her research findings have been extensively published in international journals, including the Journal of Environmental Psychology and International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction.

이민 교수는 2024년부터 가톨릭대학교 공간디자인.소비자학과에서 근무하고 있다. 국민대학교 조형대학 실내디자인학과 학사, 테크노디자인전문대학원 스페이스건축학과 실내디자인전공 석사를 받았다. 중국 칭화대학교(Tsinghua University)에서 환경예술설계학과 1호 한국인 유학생으로 중국정부장학금(CSC)수혜를 받으며 쩡슈양(Zheng, ShuYang) 교수 지도로 박사학위를 받았다. 2013년부터 국민대학교 조형대학 공간디자인학과와 테크노디자인전문대학원 문화디자인랩 교수로 근무하면서 중국인문사회연구소(HK연구소), 커뮤니티상생센터 위원으로 활동한 바 있다. 문화와 교육 기반의 공간디자인기획과 공간콘텐츠 개발, 지역 및 커뮤니티 문화 요소 개발, 공간디자인 교육을 주된 분야로 삼아, 연구와 실무에 참여하고 있다. 국립현대미술관 운영자문위원, 국가문헌기록관 건립기술자문위원, 문체부 어린이청소년도서관 총괄계획가, 대한민국역사박물관 저널편집위원, 고양시 국제꽃박람회 기술자문위원, 논산시 성과평가위원회 위원 등을 역임한 바 있으며, 국립중앙도서관 추천 국가우수강사로서 전국 도서관 관련 인력 교육에도 참여하였다. (사)한국실내디자인학회 논문편집위원 및 전시공간위원회 이사, (사)한국문화공간건축학회 실행이사, (사)대한전시디자인학회 이사로 활동하고 있다. 

Since 2024, Professor Min Lee has been a faculty member at the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) in the Dept. of Consumer and Housing. Professor Lee obtained her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from the College of Arts, Kookmin University, and her Master's in Interior Design, specializing in Space Architecture, from the Graduate School of Techno Design, Kookmin University. She received her Ph. D in the Department of Environmental Art and Design at Tsinghua University, China. Her academic journey transitioned into a teaching and research career starting in 2013 at Kookmin University. Professor Lee 
focusing on the integration of culture and education in space design planning, the development of spatial content, and enhancing regional and community cultural elements through space design education. Professor Lee's professional influence extends beyond academia into advisory roles, including contributions to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the National Archives Construction, and Children and Youth Library as the chief director. She also shared her expertise to the editorial committee of the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History's journal, the Goyang International Flower Expo. she is active as an editorial committee member and a director of KIID and KICA, and and a director of the Korea Exhibition Design Association.
